HL/Skin facial care: application and order

A care routine is easier to follow when each product has a clear role. A cleanser is rinsed off, while a serum stays on the skin. Hand and body lotion has a different application area. This guide refers to the German HL/Skin products offered in this shop.

Start with cleansing

Work the Resurfacing Gelo Cleanser into a light lather with wet hands. Massage gently over the face and neck, rinse with warm water and pat dry. The label specifies morning and evening use.

Apply serum to clean, dry skin

Massage a few drops of 10% Niacinamide Serum into the face and neck until absorbed. The label specifies once-daily use. The percentage describes the niacinamide content of this serum; it does not quantify a guaranteed result.

Distinguish facial cream from eye care

Ultimate Tension Cream is intended for morning use on clean, dry skin, massaged into the face and neck with gentle upward movements. Nourishing Eye Cream is applied in a small amount around the eyes morning and evening. Avoid direct eye contact. Your selection determines which products you combine; there is no need to buy the whole range automatically.

Keep hand and body care separate

Apply Nourishing Hand & Body Lotion daily as needed to clean, dry skin and massage until absorbed. Its directions differ from those of the facial cleanser.

Read the ingredients before choosing

Each linked product page provides the complete INCI list and manufacturer directions. Formulas differ, including in their fragrance ingredients. A range name alone does not tell you the composition of an individual product. Check the specific product and size.
